Interesting philosophy, Orson. I prefer endings that are more...in the middle, and suggest the beginning of something new, myself. If it's too fuzzy, I tend to feel cheated. Same can be said for super depressing endings, though.
How about YOU guys? Do you prefer sad or happy endings? Something else?
PS I'm going to start responding to comments...as best I can without a proper reply system. Just know that your comments will have been replied to on the same page by the next update! I want to get to know more of my fabulous readers :)
ALSO ALSO: Happy birthday to the fabulous Shamus aka RiderJetfire, who runs the IgZ Facebook page (link on the sidebar, go like it)!! You are a rad dude.
AIEEEEEEE! Orson talking about writing. I love the kid.
And what was that about sad endings? I LIKE SAD ENDINGS.
Oh hey, I'm a rad dude! HURRAY FOR RAD DUDE STATUS :D
But I agree about middle endings. But honestly, if the it's well executed, ANY kind of ending can work. But middle endings just tend to work better for me :D
And the Scott Pilgrim poster makes a return appearance!
Scott Pilgrim! Much respect.
as for endings, if its a situation where the hero dies and its sad, thats rad. but I prefer a nice common ground I suppose.
This webcomic is what I look forward to every monday and friday. I think you are fantastic, please keep up the wonderful work :)
@Bea: You and your sad endings! It's rubbing off, I tell you.
@Shamus: True, true! Even if it's something I typically wouldn't like, execution can change your mind. And yeah, the SP poster...Robbie is a big Ramona Flowers fan.
@Hanna: Yess, SP, an interest that Robbie and I happen to share. And ubhbhlksjd, your comment about looking forward to the comics made my day! Thank you SO much, it really helps to hear you're enjoying it ~
I like all kinds of endings as long as they're carried out convincingly and are in-character and meaningful or fulfilling somehow or make you think.
I share orson's view exactly. Really love your comic btw. Great story and art. The use of watercolors is really refreshing. ^^
