This part of the comic corresponds with the end of Hayden's second novel. He really does have SO MUCH SHIT on his plate right now! One day you'll get to read it; the Life in Glory universe is huge and eventually I hope to share allll of it with you.
Faerie is typically ruled by two opposing courts, the Seelie and Unseelie. In this universe it's a bit more complicated & modern, but those are the basics through that link. The BONUS CONTENT for Vol. 1 explains things better, oooh!
So, clearly, the last few pages took place in a cafe. Time for the age-old question: coffee or tea? How do you take it?
I am a huge tea-lover, no sweetener, non-dairy milk if it's a black tea. I like the taste of good black coffee a lot, but I can't drink it because the caffeine makes my anxiety go haywire, and what is the point of decaff?
Oh, ALSO: two of my very favorite webcomics just launched online stores! You can buy their beautiful awesome print versions like I am and in one case, buttons & fun things as well! Please support these awesome people.

I float serenely upon an ocean of both tea and coffee it is quite pleasant. Also I haven't read Hayden's second book have I??
I'm a big fan of tea, especially the kind you usually get in asian restaurants. No sugar, no cream. I'll drink coffee to be sociable, but with lots of cream and sugar, or else it's too bitter.
Tea! And nothing added to it. I like black teas a lot, but is not really picky. And when I do take coffee, gotta be black and very strong.
Also, I love striped wallpaper, especially blue/white. :D
I'm really starting to warm up to Mr. Dickwad Knightface. He sounds so... responsible! <3
I'm a tea drinker. <3
Yesss, everyone likes tea :D!
@Sid You may have read "Beyond the Pale" which was a novella that contained plot points that'll be in the second book, but otherwise nope!
@Diva Most Asian restaurants that serve a pot of tea along with dinner serve oolong! You can get it yourself online or in tea shops/health/specialty groceries...never seen it in a regular grocery store though.
@Kori Hayden is the epitome of responsibility :P!
Definitely tea. I go through several cups a day: mostly black teas, occasionally green, rarely white. Always with soy milk, unless it's white or I'm in a restaurant. And while I generally prefer it without sugar, I am very picky about which teas are delicious enough to go unsweetened - not just the flavor, but the brand as well.
oh your awsome i've been sick all day and i finally feel like i can get up and theres your awsome comic updated. i wish you could see the love i'm sending you through this comment
and i dont like ether i like jucie.
Hinting at the wider universe it always all kinds of entertaining.
I like both. I drink coffee more often but I like tea more. I put either sugar or flavoured creamer in my coffee and drink my tea plain (except that one cheap brand of earl grey I have, it's really insanely bitter so I put a little sugar in it).
Tea! All sorts of tea, green, white, black, herbal. I LOVE chamomile. Never thought I would, but there you go.
I cant have caffeine either, cause it does the same thing to me (yay I'm not alone!), but I do drink decaf. Cause I like the taste. But maybe our decaf here is nicer than your decaf there (ie, Australia vs the US).
Also... oh my gosh. thank you for posting the link to Prince of Cats. Just read through it all, and I'm hooked! It's so pretty too (like yours).
