Green hair, huh....looks kinda familiar to me ;). Orson, I thought you said this was fictional!
Well, anyway, I'm moving to my new apartment tonight and school starts up on Wednesday! There won't be a new comic page for a week or two, but I'll probably post some doodles and DEFINITELY check back for updates about Baltimore Comic Con, which is Sept 8-9.
If you could buy one of Jennifer's bottled wishes, would you? What would you wish for (aside from more wishes)?
If I could buy a wish, I would wish for a roadmap of personal landmarks to tell me I was doing the right thing, going the right way in life. "Cardboard speakers," "Walking home with an egg," "Eating Burger King while smelling pizza," stuff that would make sense to me once the moment had passed, but wouldn't spoil the future for me, either. That'd be nice.
ohhhhhhhhhh the watercolors! I am starstruck.
There's an itty bitty typo in the story in the second line, "btefore hightailing out of the Amtrack station" whoops
If I could wish for anything I think I would wish for the superpower to not NEED to sleep 7-8 hours every night to function, but to still have the ability to sleep when I want to. I just really want more time to do things, without messing with Time itself.
Or I might wish everything to always come out exactly how I want it to look when I'm drawing/painting.
Or maybe just for a lifetime supply of chocolate chips and tea.
Gorgeous page! And interesting story too
As for what I would wish, hmm... probably the power to defeat procrastination
Kinda personal but I would wish for 'equipment' to be real, ahem sensate too.
I was wondering how much of Orson's story was based on his experiences. Didn't he mention something about this to Robbie a while back?
The crow-man is one of my favourite creations of yours. I'm really hoping we see him again at some point.
As for the question: I wouldn't pass down the chance to buy a wish. I'd use it for more time, so I could practise all the things I want to be good at.
(long time lurker finally gathering the courage to comment. This comic is so cool ;_; )
I am never ceased to be amazed by the artwork and storywork of this comic. It is always stunning, and the outfit of the characters in this arc are awesome, especially Neve/pseudo-Neve. Love the surprised look on zhir face ("Wishes?").
As for buying wishes, I'm not chicken. I would wish to be biologically female. It would make life much more bearable.
