Hey-ho! Remember when I promised a new 24-page minicomic if a certain book project was funded? And it was, and you guys picked Neve as the star? And then because we met a large funding goal on the IgZ volume 1 Kickstarter, everyone who ordered a book is getting one of these minicomics, titled "Neve and the Unicorn of Lake Glory"?

Well, now I'm sure you do! This is our unicorn, whose name is Dylan. Dylan doesn't identify as male or female and prefers the pronouns ze/hir. Ze is fairly quiet but also quite fabulous, as opposed to Neve, who is fantastically loud and fabulous.

I'm very sorry that it's taking so much longer than anticipated for you all to receive the books and prints from the Kickstarter. The financial/personal setback I stumbled into in July was a doozy and I tried all I could to prevent it from happening. You will get your stuff!! I am COMMITTED because you all are such lovely readers <3

Also, don't forget I'll be at Baltimore Comic Con this weekend, Sept 8-9, at table A14 in the Artist Alley with Kori Handwerker! No merch (maybe some limited edition prints? maybe?), but I'll be doing watercolor portraits/quick commissions :)

ALSO ALSO: My pal Thea just launched a new webcomic called Aurora! She's awesome, so please check it out:

“Will a whole village suffer for the dreams of just one girl?”

@Guest Oh, no! I'll be posting it online, too :) It's just that book orders get a print copy.

Whoo, totally caught up! I have to say, Ignition Zero seems to get better and better the further along it goes--I'm really enjoying it! These last few story pages have been a great treat. It was also fun coming across the pages I saw in person the other day, and recognizing the (antelope?) skull-wearing lady from up on the wall.

Anywho, it was cool seeing you at Comic Con (didn't realize until afterward that I should've gotten an autograph from you, ha!), and I wish you good luck!

Ahhh, Dylan is so cute! I can't wait for hiatus to be over though, I miss the regular strips already.
