Important News: Hurricane Irene is coming! Originally I was to be busy because of moving back to college, but that has been delayed in light of the storm.
I am currently staying with my mom on an island in the Chesapeake Bay (Maryland) and we are classified as under "extreme" threat for Saturday/Sunday. However, there has only been a voluntary evacuation order for people in low-lying areas (which I am not), so we are staying so far.
It is entirely possible that we could be without power for a few days. Luckily for you, I have Monday's page already finished and will set it to post at midnight EST (although my time settings are weird on here so it might update at 3 or 4am instead)! If I have power Monday morning, I will let you know in the author's note ASAP, although there will be a generic message there in the meantime.
As long as there is no power but still cell reception, I will keep you updated on our status via Twitter (link on the sidebar). Feel free to @reply me, it goes to my phone!

Update Aug 26 5:52pm: A mandatory evacuation order is in effect for my area! Most likely relocating to a family friend's house near DC. Either way, have to come back Monday so that I can move to school on Tuesday. alsdkfjasldfk jeez.
